Down time?  Been trying to access for the past hour, not even a 500 response or anything, just times out.  Working now though.

Ogre3D.org had the same problem.  They must use the same DNS...

Yeah, we both use www.zoneedit.com to manage DNS records. While I use the free service (only 2 name servers, ns1 and ns2) Ogre pays for 1 additional nameserver (ns17 iirc), though, all three were down! For hours it seems.

Seems up again, not sure for how long. Hopefully, it is fixed and not just up for a bit. I have been working to get dns entries on my server working, to use as a fallback name server. Hopefully avoid this happening again.

That is *really* wierd that an entire DNS range would go offline.  Any idea what trouble they were having?

No idea. I did a lookup on the name servers that were down, and they were all located at different locations. I have no clue what would take down several of their servers. And their status page has no real info.

Actually. Zoneedit free dns servers still appear to be down (ns2 & ns3.zoneedit.com). Ogre's dns17.zoneedit.com name server is working. As for my site, seems that my own nameserver is working and is serving the site :D
