.7.2 Release schedule/features..
« on: July 09, 2006, 04:09:40 PM »

Well, I know .7.1 just went out. However, an important bug just got fixed right after the release (and, it was a stupid oversight on my part). In anycase, this means that a new release will be out soon. Please, report any problems you have here, so that they can be fixed in the .7.2 release :)

Some other things I hope to get done for the next release:
:arrow: OIS SDK Installer for Win32 (VC7.1, VC8, C::B)
:arrow: pyOIS Build for win32 to be included in the SDK
:arrow: Offline documentation, and API reference included with the SDK
:arrow: Take a look at the state of the .Net OIS bindings, and perhaps include them with the installer
:arrow: See about including the Gesture demo (in oisaddons) to te SDK under examples

Please, feel free to add any suggestions :)

Most of the things on the list are done. Just a couple other loose ends to tie up. I've decided this will be a demoless download. This will be only for people wanting a precompiled PyOIS and OIS for C::B, VC7.1, and VC8.0 platforms.

I have included some documentation, and a quick reference guide I threw together (a preview http://www.wreckedgames.com/Manual.pdf).

All libs have been added, and I will be uploading in a bit, hopefully I did not forget anything.

Hmm, well, I decided against trying the .Net bindings at this time, and also against having any binary/source demos with the sdk - mostly, a time constraint for me. In future versions of OIS, and hence future SDKs, I will likely add more items to the SDK (such as some source demos) and other bindings.

Ok, everything has been uploaded to sf.net. I did leave one little oversight, but rebuilding everything for the oversight was not worth it - I left the version number as 0.7.2 in the source and configure scripts. This will be fixed in any other 0.7.x release (if there are anymore), and of course in 0.8.
