yeah, I'll set it up.. And that will be the first depends to go in.. I probably will exclude the demo directory of it.. As that will save 3MBs.. And, having super large repositories is not really that fun.

I've already setup projects for codeblocks on ogg, vorbis, theora, and ptypes, I can add those too.

Ok, go ahead and add the ogg/vorbis/prtypes/theora - just make sure, you delete all binary files (object/dll's/libs first), so that it is trimmed down ;)

Ogrenewt weighed in at about 439KBs.

Well, I've got ogg, theora, vorbis, squirrel, and ptypes in, weighing in at a total of ~10Mb :D , I stripped it down as much as possible. We can still remove the Mac projects, and It'll probably take off ~1.3Mb.

edit: I also took out the linux build scripts, because I'm under the impression that you want to use linux Code::Blocks files for building. They were also quite hefty.

For the pre-built binaries, should I just package the dependencies not included in svn?(Ogre, OIS, uhhh... probably something else I'm forgetting too)

Yeah, no big depends (Ogre, etc) in SVN.. What was 10MBs? I don't see how those small source libs (with no media) wegih in so heavy?

Its now at 6.84MB, quite a bit better :). The biggest size right now is vorbis, then theora.

Hmm, we can trim out the encoder parts of Vorbis and Theora, that would reduce the size in half. Though, don't need to if that is too much trouble.

Sure, I'll get going on that  :), It'll probably take me a day or two though(Dang School!, although I will get a lot more time in 32 days from now, when I am out)

edit: btw, any hints on what files are for encoding?
I've removed any files with encode in their name, but some of the others are kinda cryptic  :P

Sorry, no hints.. And, i agree theyare very crptic (however, at least your not porting theora to c#, as, it is spread all over the plase :) - btw, i did port libTheora to c# (and then, after getting 96% done), I changed tracks and ported a JavaTheora port over to C# (that only took an hour :) ).

I'm better now  :P, I've added a workspece for the dependencies, and removed some files related to the encoder in theora. I'll create some projects for ogrenewt today, and get those up too.

Then, back to WGE  :D

edit: I'm so lost with vorbis, I don't even know where to begin to remove the encoder from it, so I'll leave that for now. Plus, I think there are more important things to be worked on right now.
