When I try to upload a ping called SVN1.png, it gives me this error "Upload warning
The file is corrupt or has an incorrect extension. Please check the file and upload again."

Perhaps it doesn't like png's. Try it as a jpg and see if you can get it. (I know png's are superior).

I'll go give it a try.

edit: Yup,  it works with jpg :? Funny thing is, the upload page gives a png file for an example. Maybe its just the way I saved it in The Gimp.

Could be, IIRC, Wikipedia uses ImageMagik as the backend (for, thumbnails, etc), could be a problem with compatibility. Though, glad you got it working :)
