Well, I have heard of some problems with signing up regarding the email authorization notice not arriving. So, I have disabled the user registration for now, and it is automatic activation when signing up. Unless spam bots get out of controll which I doubt.

The e-mail problem mostly seems to be an issue with ending up in a spam box. Well, I need to resolve certain server settings for one. I have yet to get incoming mail working, and as a result I am using my yahoo email account for the system admin email, so that may be causing some problemms of a from email coming from a non yahoo server. Anyway, I need to do some diggin into mail settings to get this all sorted out :/ (I am a Linux Server noob

Well, my server has been bouncing out hundreds of spam mails since a couple days ago apprently (god damn I hate them bastards!)... so, I have disabled my SMTP srver completely until I can get it configured properly.

Email is offline, this means no notifications for posts or PMs. Sorry, this will be remidied once I configure the SMTP server properly.

Spent most of the morning, but I think I have restored the mail server

I had to flush all the ques, reconfigure it, and play with it a bit. But, i think it is good now. I just have to keep an eye on the log's to make sure it does not get compromised again.

Hmm, well, this is the second time I've seen it, it seems hotmail mail servers will not accept mail from wreckedgames.com server.

I'll try and correct this situation, in the mean time, if you use a hotmail account, please try an alternative email for signing up to forums/mantis.
